After bootstrapping to hundreds of customers, we raised $825k from world-class founders and investors to speed things up and help us build the fastest and most enjoyable support tool on the market.
Our story
Hey, I'm Raphael. I founded Productlane after 7 years as a product designer in high-growth software companies.
There was always the same problem:
User feedback didn't reach the product team.
When I did user interviews and collected insights, there was no good way to share those with engineers, or influence the roadmap.
On the other side, user insights from customer support and other tools were invisible for me and the whole product team.
Feedback was buried in the support tool or company wiki, and we built the wrong features as a result.
When I had the same problem in the 3rd company, I decided to quit my job and start Productlane.
I bet on Linear after they launched out of beta, as the only maintainable way is to link feedback to the issue tracker, and Linear was the only enjoyable one I saw.
The MVP was ready within 3 months and I was super nervous to launch it to the public…
The launch was successful. There was a need for a tool that makes feedback and support visible across the company.
