The Members page controls who has access to your workspace. Admins invite people, change their roles, remove them, and manage allowed email domains so teammates can join automatically. Each seat added here counts toward your billed seat count.
Settings > Workspace > Members.
Everyone can open the page. What you can do depends on your role:
Admins see "Manage who has access to Productlane" and get the Invite member and Add domain buttons plus the per-member and per-domain menus.
Members and viewers see "View who has access to Productlane" and can view the lists, but the management controls are hidden.
A "How it works" button in the header opens the related help article.
Productlane has three membership roles. When you change someone's role, a confirmation dialog states what the role grants:
Admin: full control of the workspace. Admins manage billing, members, domains, and all settings.
Member: can edit and reply to threads. This is the default role for new invites.
Viewer: read-only access.
A button labeled "Invite member" in the Workspace members section (admins only). It opens the Invite member dialog:
Email: the invitee's email address.
Full name: the invitee's name.
Role: a dropdown with Admin, Member, and Viewer. It defaults to Member.
Send invite: sends an email with a link to join the workspace.
The dialog note reads: "An email will be sent to the user, with a link to join your workspace." On success you see a "Member Invited" confirmation.
Each member row shows their avatar, name, email, and a role pill (Admin is highlighted). For any member other than yourself, admins see a "..." menu with these actions:
Make an admin: opens a confirm dialog ("This person will have full control of the workspace.").
Make a member: opens a confirm dialog ("This person can edit and reply to threads.").
Make a viewer: opens a confirm dialog ("This person will have read-only access.").
Remove member: opens a confirm dialog to remove the person from the workspace.
Only the options that differ from the member's current role appear. You cannot change your own role or remove yourself from this menu, and only admins see the menu at all.
When there are pending invites, admins see a "Workspace invites" section listing each invited person by name and email with an "Invited" pill. Each row has a "Cancel invite" button that revokes the pending invitation.
A section for auto-join by email domain. Its description reads: "Anyone with an email ending in one of these domains can join the workspace." Admins get an "Add domain" button.
Each domain row shows the domain, a status pill ("Verified" or "Pending"), the verification email address, and the date it was added or verified. Admins get a "..." menu per domain:
Verify domain: shown for unverified domains. Opens the domain verification dialog.
Remove domain: opens a confirm dialog. Removing a domain stops new members from signing up with that domain.
Opened by "Add domain". Titled "Add allowed domain" with the note that an email will be sent to verify you control the domain.
Domain: the domain to allow, in the form "example.com" (any protocol or path you paste is stripped automatically).
Email for verification: an address that must end in the domain you entered.
Common public email providers (for example gmail.com) are rejected. The verification email address must end with the domain, or the dialog shows an error. Submitting with "Add domain" starts verification and sends a code to the verification email.
Opened by "Verify domain" on a pending domain. Titled "Verify domain [domain]". It asks for the verification code that was emailed to the verification address. Enter the code and click "Add domain" to mark the domain verified. Once verified, anyone with an email on that domain can join the workspace.
Sign in as an admin and open Settings > Workspace > Members.
Click Invite member.
Enter the email and full name, and pick a role (Admin, Member, or Viewer).
Click Send invite. The person gets an email with a join link.
Open Settings > Workspace > Members as an admin.
Find the member and open the "..." menu on their row.
Choose Make an admin, Make a member, or Make a viewer.
Confirm in the dialog.
Open Settings > Workspace > Members as an admin.
Open the "..." menu on the member's row and choose Remove member.
Confirm. The person loses access to the workspace.
Open Settings > Workspace > Members as an admin.
In Allowed Domains, click Add domain.
Enter your company domain (for example acme.com) and a verification email on that domain.
Submit, then open the verification email and copy the code.
Open the "..." menu on the pending domain, choose Verify domain, paste the code, and click Add domain.
Once the status shows Verified, anyone with an email on that domain can join.
Role and member management require the ADMIN role. Members and viewers can view the lists only.
You cannot manage your own membership from the member menu.
Each member occupies a billed seat; adding or removing members changes your subscription's seat count (see the Billing article).
Public email providers cannot be used as allowed domains, and the verification email must match the domain you are adding.
Pending invites can be revoked at any time with Cancel invite.
