The Slack integration syncs conversations from Slack Connect channels into Productlane. Invite the Productlane bot to a customer Slack Connect channel and its messages become threads you can manage, reply to, and link to Linear.
Settings > Integrations > Slack.
The integration requires the Pro plan or higher. A "Pro" pill appears next to the Slack title until the workspace is connected. Connecting requires a MEMBER or ADMIN role; Viewers cannot connect. On plans below Pro, the page shows an upgrade prompt in place of the connect button.
Shown when the workspace is below the Pro plan. It leads to the plan upgrade flow. The Connect button appears only once the workspace is on Pro or higher.
Shown on Pro and up when Slack is not connected. It redirects you to Slack to authorize Productlane. The button is hidden for Viewers. After connecting, a green "Connected" badge appears next to the Slack title.
Shown when Slack is connected. It opens a confirmation dialog titled "Disconnect Slack Integration?". Your data stays saved and the integration is disabled. Confirm with the "Disconnect" button.
An icon button next to Connect and Disconnect that opens the Slack help article.
If your workspace is on the older, unsupported Slack integration, the page shows a warning banner instead of the settings. Click "Disconnect" in the banner, confirm, then reconnect to move to the current integration.
Under the "Options" heading. A dropdown that picks the Slack channel where a message is posted for every new thread. Select "Disable" to turn notifications off. Saves automatically on selection.
Under the "Options" heading. A dropdown with a checkbox for each Slack channel. Messages from a muted channel do not create new threads in the inbox. Changelog broadcasts and other outbound posts to those channels still work. The button label shows "None" or "N muted". Saves automatically each time you check or uncheck a channel.
Under the "Action Menu" heading. A toggle. When on, the bot posts a public reply in Slack to messages that are pushed to Productlane. Default off. Saves automatically.
Under the "Action Menu" heading. A toggle. When on, the bot automatically replies in Slack threads based on your office hours and availability. Default off. If no office hours are configured, a "Configure office hours" link takes you to Settings > Office hours. Saves automatically.
A "Set up" button that takes you to Settings > Notifications, where you configure personal Slack alerts for new assignments or comment mentions.
Confirm the workspace is on the Pro plan or higher. If not, use the upgrade prompt first.
Go to Settings > Integrations > Slack and click "Connect", then authorize Productlane in Slack.
Invite the Productlane bot to each customer Slack Connect channel you want to sync.
Under "Options", pick a "Notifications" channel and mute any channels that should not create threads.
Under "Action Menu", enable "Public bot response for pushes" and "Thread auto-replies" if you want them.
Optionally click "Set up" under "Personal Slack notifications" to configure your own alerts.
All settings save automatically as you change them.
Messages and threads in Slack Connect channels where the bot is present sync into Productlane automatically.
Replies sent from Productlane appear in Slack, and replies in Slack appear in Productlane.
Threads can be linked to Linear issues.
The integration is Slack Connect focused: invite the bot to customer-facing Slack Connect channels to capture conversations.
Reconnecting uses the same OAuth flow: disconnect, then click Connect again.
The legacy Slack integration is no longer supported; disconnect and reconnect to upgrade to the current one.
