<h2>Importing Changelogs into Productlane</h2><p>You can import existing changelogs to Productlane to make your transition fast and keep your product history in one place.</p><hr><h2>How it works</h2><p>When you import changelogs, Productlane takes your existing entries (from a CSV or Markdown file) and automatically creates Changelog posts in your portal. Each entry becomes a draft you can review and publish.</p><p>Supported formats • CSV (exported from tools like Intercom, Notion, or custom files) • Markdown (e.g. GitHub or GitBook changelogs)</p><hr><h2>How to import </h2><ol class="steps-list"><li><p>Go to Changelog in the Productlane dashboard. </p></li><li><p>Click “Import” in the top right corner. </p></li><li><p>Choose your file (CSV or Markdown). </p></li><li><p>Map the fields: • Title → becomes the changelog post title • Body → becomes the post content • Date → sets the publish date </p></li><li><p>Review your entries and publish them all at once or one by one.</p></li></ol><p></p><hr><h2>Tips </h2><p>• If your CSV has custom fields, you can skip or remap them during import. </p><p>• Drafts don’t go live until you publish them. </p><p>• You can always edit titles, content, and dates after import.</p><h2>Need help?</h2><p>If your file doesn’t match the required format, reach out to us via chat or at support@productlane.com.
