The Productboard importer brings your Productboard notes into Productlane as threads, and their features as tags. You can then turn any tag into a Linear issue or project. It needs the Pro plan or above.
Create a Productboard token
In Productboard, go to Integrations, scroll to APIs, click Access Token, then Add Token. Copy the token.
Open the importer
In Productlane, search settings or press Cmd/Ctrl + K for Import from Productboard, or open the importer directly. Paste the token and click Validate Data.
Check the dry run
Validating shows a preview of everything the import will bring in. Users without an email and companies without a domain are skipped, so fix them in Productboard first if you need them. Run the dry run as often as you like.
Run the import
Click Run Import. Productlane confirms when it finishes.
Productlane uses your token only for the import and does not store it.
Each imported note becomes a thread marked "Imported from Productboard", with its features as tags. Features, components, and products all become tags.
Once Linear is connected, open a tag and convert it into a Linear issue or project. Every thread under the tag stays linked. See Tags.
