The startup program puts eligible early-stage companies on the Scale plan at a discount that steps down over three years: 89% in year 1, 24% in year 2, and list price in year 3.
The program covers the Productlane Agent, the Help Center, the support inbox, the feedback portal, the roadmap, and the changelog, all synced with Linear.

Viewer seats are for internal teammates who only need read access. They don't count toward your full seats, and they aren't for customers.

Resolutions beyond the included allowance cost $0.79 each, the standard Scale rate. From year 2, the Scale plan's standard AI pricing applies.
If year 1 still costs too much, the Starter plan is $29 per seat per month.
The standard offer is 6 full seats. A smaller team can ask for fewer seats when applying, for example 3, and the discount schedule stays the same. We approve seat counts case by case, and the count is fixed at approval, so raise it in your application.
For a smaller team we have also agreed custom terms, such as 3 seats on a 1-year upfront commitment with an optional discounted second year. These are exceptions, not part of the standard offer. Ask us what fits your team.
Each year of the program is a 12-month contract, billed monthly.
You commit to one year at a time.
At the end of each year you can cancel or continue.
If you continue, you move to the next year's price on the schedule.
Mid-term plan changes are limited, since seats and pricing are fixed for the term. A downgrade takes effect after the current billing period.
You qualify when all of these are true:
You have raised less than $10M.
You have fewer than 15 employees.
You have never been on a paid Productlane plan.
You need at most 6 full seats. Viewer seats don't count.
You apply within 90 days of signing up, if you already started a trial.
Each company can join the program once.
Approval takes 1 to 2 business days, and we confirm by email. You then have 30 days to start your subscription, or the approval expires and you reapply.
If you don't qualify, see the Starter and Pro plans. You can reapply later if your team, stage, or funding changes.
If your invoice shows list price after approval, email [email protected] with your workspace name and the approval email. We correct the discount on your account, with no need to reapply.
After checkout, check the plan and price on your billing page, and start your subscription inside the 30-day window.
Outside the program, Pro costs $59 per seat and Scale $99 per seat.
Ask support to remove the startup plan. Your billing page shows other plans only after that.

The change takes effect in your next billing cycle.
Remove inactive teammates first to cut seat charges.
What happens after year 3?
You stay on the Scale plan at list price, billed per seat. You can move to Pro or Starter instead.
Does my AI allowance drop during the trial?
No. A regular trial gets a capped AI allowance. Startup program workspaces keep the full 100 resolutions per month during the trial, since we vet them before approval.
