Blocklist

The blocklist keeps feedback from specific email addresses or whole domains out of your workspace. Blocked senders are ignored automatically, which is how you keep spam and unwanted contact away from your inbox.

Available on every plan.

Where to find it

Settings > Setup > Email > Blocklist. The Blocked email addresses card on the main Email page opens the same screen.

Block a sender

1. Click Add.
2. Choose Email for one address or Domain for an entire domain.
3. Enter the address or the domain.
4. Click Add. The entry takes effect right away.

Unblock a sender

Find the entry in the table and click the trash icon on its row.

Good to know

• Blocking covers inbound email and widget feedback alike.
• Blocked messages are dropped rather than stored, so they cannot be recovered later. Inbound email from a blocked sender is accepted quietly and discarded, which stops the sending server retrying.
• Blocking a domain covers every mailbox on that domain.
• Each address or domain can be on the list once.
• Adding an entry also unsubscribes matching contacts, so they stop receiving outbound emails and notifications as well. Blocking a domain unsubscribes every subscribed contact with an address at it.
