The GitHub integration links a GitHub repository to your workspace so Productlane AI agents can read pull requests and source code for context.
Settings > Integrations > GitHub.
Shown when the GitHub App is configured for the environment but not yet installed on your organization. Clicking it sends you to GitHub to install the Productlane GitHub App on your organization. After installation you return here to pick a repository. The button is disabled while the install URL is loading.
Shown after the app is installed, under the "Repository" heading. A searchable dropdown listing the repositories the installation can access. Selecting a repository links it immediately and shows a "Linked" confirmation with the repository name. Only one repository is supported at a time. If the installation grants access to exactly one repository, Productlane links it automatically, so no selection is needed. Saves automatically on selection.
Shown when the app is installed. It opens a confirmation dialog titled "Uninstall GitHub Integration?". Confirming with the "Uninstall" button removes the Productlane GitHub App from your organization and revokes its access to all repositories. To reconnect afterward you install the App again. A green "Connected" badge appears next to the title while installed.
If the GitHub App is not configured in the environment, the page shows a notice instead of any buttons. A workspace admin has to register a GitHub App and set the GITHUB_APP_ID, GITHUB_APP_PRIVATE_KEY, and GITHUB_APP_SLUG environment values before the integration can be used.
If a GitHub install returns an error, a red banner reads that the install failed and to try again.
If an install request was sent to an org admin for approval, an amber banner says the page will connect automatically once approved.
If the page is slow to load or fails, an amber banner suggests pausing content blockers and offers a "Reload page" button, since a browser extension can block a required request.
Go to Settings > Integrations > GitHub.
Click "Install GitHub App" and complete the installation on your GitHub organization. If your org requires admin approval, the request is sent to an admin and the page connects automatically once approved.
Return to the page and pick a repository under "Linked repository". If the install granted access to a single repo, it is linked automatically.
The linked repository saves automatically as soon as you select it.
Productlane AI agents read from the linked repository: pull requests and source code are available as context.
The integration is read-focused; it does not write to your repository from this page.
Only one repository can be linked at a time.
Uninstalling revokes the App's access to every repository, not just the linked one; you reinstall the App to reconnect.
The integration depends on a configured GitHub App for the environment. If it is not configured, an admin must register the App and set the required environment values first.
